The feelings in your hands and body while playing this guitar actually suggest the illusion that the guitar is moving with you. The vibrations are so natural and responsive that it almost feels like the guitar is made of a material much softer than the solid woods it is crafted from, and your hands are able to relax in such a way that it allows you to focus entirely on the nuance and phrasing in your playing.

When I spoke to Tom Bills about this guitar, he regularly referred to the Natura's 'voice', and I feel that this is the perfect terminology to use. Rather than speaking of the 'sound' created by an instrument, Tom was using this term to describe the vocal, almost human quality of the way in which this guitar speaks. Every element of this guitar was designed for complete harmony throughout, and I think Tom has actually achieved it. You can hear the guitar transform from an assembly of individual parts to a sensitive, responsive musical companion when you excite the strings. One can only imagine what this will sound like in 10 years!

Tom Bills' guitars are in high demand and available in extremely low numbers. What we have here is absolutely the cream of the crop. We had to be very patient to wait as long as we did for this Natura Deluxe, but as soon as I played it, I understood. A guitar like this takes time and devotion, and there are few out there who can use both as well as Tom Bills.
