Compeletely redesigned, the Mapex Black Panther Snare Drum Line has undergone some serious upgrades.  Borrowing from the renegade Design Lab series snare drums, there has been some trickle down features that are now found on these new drums, like the Design Lab Air Flow Venting, and the Soniclear Snare Beds to provide enhanced sensitivity.  All bearing edges have the Soniclear edge for easier tuning and head seating, and the the Sonic Saver Hoops are standard on all drums.  

The Pegasus is legendary and mysterious featuring a thinner shell construction producing a slightly darker character from the famed maple/walnut blended shell. Like it’s mythological namesake, this drum is grounded but can take flight at a moment’s notice.
