Crafted in Japan as part of the prestigious Players Edition series, the Gretsch G6228 FM Players Edition Jet BT combines iconic single-cut styling with modern, high-performance gigging features. Built with a chambered mahogany body topped with a striking tiger-flame laminated maple cap in a Dark Cherry Stain gloss finish, it maximizes acoustic resonance, organic warmth, and playing comfort at an agreeable 7 lbs 10 oz. Powered by a pair of Tim Shaw-designed Broad'Tron BT-65 humbucking pickups, it delivers punchy full-range power, clear articulate highs, and thick low-end drive while maintaining classic Gretsch bite. The mahogany neck features a Standard "U" profile, a 24.6" scale length, an ebony fingerboard with a 12" radius, pearloid Big Block inlays, and a Graph Tech TUSQ XL nut. Outfitted with an anchored Adjusto-Matic bridge, Gretsch "V" stoptail, Gotoh locking tuners, nickel hardware, and a gold plexi pickguard, this professional-grade solidbody includes a deluxe hardshell case.
