Handmade in California, U.S.A., the Deering B-6 Boston 6-String Banjo offers guitarists standard E-A-D-G-B-E tuning alongside authentic, cutting banjo projection. At its core is Deering's innovative 3/16" thick steel rim that functions as its own tone ring, generating a bright, crisp, and ringing tone with remarkable sustain. It features a rich mahogany neck and resonator under a smooth satin finish, a slender profile neck, a 24-piece flange, and a standard 11" rim that easily converts to an openback design for a warmer, folkier sound. Built for effortless playability and durability, it comes appointed with a radiant arched ebony fingerboard with mother-of-pearl dot position markers, Deering guitar-style tuning machines, nickel-plated hardware, a comfortable armrest, Deering's custom adjustable 6-string tailpiece, and an included hardshell case.
